Depot #1 is targeted to open in Greater Orlando in Q4 2026. There is no DockDuty depot in Fort Lauderdale, and we’re not going to imply one is under construction.
Our published roadmap is Florida-first — and it builds toward Broward: Miami, about 30 miles south, is the named second dock, breaking ground when Orlando is ~80% reserved and operating, with Tampa following on the same trigger. The roadmap is literally building toward Fort Lauderdale.

Why Fort Lauderdale matters to a depot company
Fort Lauderdale’s case starts 30 miles down I-95. Miami runs two robotaxi networks at once — Waymo has carried paying riders there since January 22, 2026, and Tesla’s service went unsupervised on July 3, 2026 — under the same Florida Statutes §316.85 that covers Broward today: no human operator required, no special state permit, no city-by-city approval. There is no legal step between Miami’s county line and Fort Lauderdale — only an operator’s decision to widen the map. And autonomy is already working Broward streets at small scale: Serve Robotics’ sidewalk delivery robots have run Downtown and Las Olas for Uber Eats since December 5, 2025. The demand profile is exactly what short-ride fleets eat. Port Everglades closed fiscal 2025 with a record 4.77 million cruise passenger movements — the world’s third-busiest cruise homeport — and Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International moved 32.2 million passengers in 2025, most of them starting or ending a trip within a few miles of the port, the beach, or Las Olas.
